Bio
I have loved art ever since I was a child when my parents would chastise me for drawing on my walls.  Even though the canvas was not appropriate, avatars like Zelda, Mega Man and The Little Mermaid deserved a spot in my life.  This passion for art has led me to study illustration and then computer animation in college.  I feel privileged to have studied in the heart of the entertainment industry, which opened the door for many wonderful opportunities.
What solidified my desire to be an artist was when Justin Sweet (Chronicles of Narnia) came to Fullerton Junior College and did a series of demos on Corel Painter.  Seeing him work digitally opened my eyes to the possibilities of programs like Painter and Photoshop.  I chose Illustration as my concentration for my undergrad because of all the amazing concept art that are created using these programs.
As an intern at Nickelodeon Animation Studios I had the opportunity to learn firsthand from Animatics and storyboards from The Mighty B! before it aired.  I witnessed Senior VP Mark Taylor at work when I sat in on a pitch for The Fairly OddParents.  It was amazing to see the art come alive.
